ADVANCED BIOCHEMICAL ANALYSIS

The blood within the human body tells a story by reflecting how vital organs are functioning and highlighting our strengths, weaknesses and potential threats. The Comprehensive Metabolic Panel CMP is a good starting point to assess an individuals internal chemistry such as liver function, kidney function, thyroid function, blood sugar regulation and lipid (fat) metabolism. Additionally, we now have advanced techniques for identifying genetic fragments of virus and bacteria, specific immune markers like Natural Killer Cells and intra-cellular nutrient status.

DENTAL EVALUATION

Dental evaluation and appropriate dental procedures are very important in addressing a chronic illness. In the process of assessing your health and considering symptomology, we always look at dental health and what type of restorative materials have been used as well as considering chronic endodontal or periodontal infection.

Since every tooth is active, living tissue and is associated with other vital organs in our body, it only makes sense to consider the teeth in evaluating ones symptoms and overall function. There is a general consensus in medicine and dentistry that dental infection can lead to pericarditis or endocarditis (heart disease) and become a very serious problem. Replacing an existing silver filling for instance must be done with great care to avoid exposing the patient to highly toxic mercury or pathogenic bacteria.

Nutritional Medicine Institute has been guiding patients with respect to appropriate dental restorative materials and procedures for over 20 years and continues to research the latest biocompatible materials and techniques.

URINALYSIS

A Urinalysis allows us to check a variety of metabolic markers and identify potentially harmful substances such as blood, pathogenic bacteria or fungus. We also consider pH, hormones and several metabolic break down products. If the urinary pH is too acidic for instance, it becomes increasingly more difficult to efficiently absorb nutrients such as vitamins and minerals as well as excrete metabolic waste products. Urinalysis can provide clues as to adequate hydration, mineral intake and possible urinary tract infection UTI. An acidic urinary pH reflects a more acidic soft tissue pH and creates a hostile internal environment forcing the body to struggle to absorb the nutrients it needs for optimal health and performance.

ultra-sound

ULTRASOUND

Diagnostic ultrasound is a very safe and clinically useful tool to assess individuals for a variety of issues including preventive screening for hernias, occluded carotid arteries, gallstones, thrombosis and cardiac function. As an imaging tool, ultrasound is a great starting point that can lead to a better understanding of symptomology and help determine the cause of certain disorders.

QUANTUM REFLEX ANALYSIS

Quantum Reflex Analysis (QRA) is an assessment procedure that involves muscle testing specific diagnostic points on the body to identify deficiency, toxicity and infection. As a corollary to other diagnostics, QRA provides doctors added insight into the human body to determine a clinical course of treatment.
